"To me and my family, Intersection Safety Cameras make Houston safer for us. The biggest threat to my wife, children and grandkids is being hit by a Red Light runner.
The Red Light Camera technology provides irrefutable proof of a violation and punishes irresponsible Red Light runner before they can harm my loved ones. This is about safety first and foremost and it is not an issue of civil liberties. Intersection Safety Cameras have reduced Red Light runners, collisions and have improved driver habits.
Revenue from Red Light runners help to fund regional trauma centers as well as DWI Task Forces, School Zone Officers, Driver Safety programs and more.
I am proud to stand with the Houston Police Department as well as many Houston leaders in strongly supporting Intersection Safety Cameras."
