PAWTUCKET, R.I. (WPRI) - Police in Pawtucket are searching for a suspect in a deadly car crash.

Police say 37-year-old James Manning of Woonsocket was the driver in a crash on Mineral Spring Avenue back on September 19th.

Police say Manning was drunk when he drove through a red light and collided with another car. One of Manning's friends, Fritz Daleus, 36, of Milford, Mass. died from his injuries sustained in that crash.

Manning was initially charged with driving with a suspended license and was cited for driving through the red light. However, investigators have since determined that alcohol was involved in the crash and have charged Manning with driving under the influence, death resulting.

Anyone with information on Manning's whereabouts is asked to call Pawtucket police.
